What I Think About Lawyers

Lawyers to me are a very important part of the law. Although you're supposed to be about to trust lawyers, there are always going to be crooked lawyers who care more about a victory than helping the client. I mostly feel this way because of an old Al Pacino movie And Justice for All portrays this issue very well. Al Pacino plays the lead lawyer and is forced to make these so called “deals” in court to help him get the win and ultimately he gets fed up with it and flips on his own case because he was the only loyal lawyer out there.

I don't think I could ever be a lawyer either. I know it's good money and all but all of those laws and regulations and codes could be so confusing, I think I would hate it. Props to the lawyers out there who are successful and know what they are doing because as much as I hate them, they are definitely needed. Especially in Las Vegas where gangs and drugs are huge.

Moving to Vegas was really different coming from a small town in New Hampshire. Coming from a place with no crime at all, to Sin City, the crime rate is way higher around here. It’s a good thing that I lived in San Diego for a big part of my life too because moving from country life to city life can be difficult for many people.

One of the biggest things I noticed about lawyers here are all the advertising they do. Whether it be a commercial on t.v. or a huge billboard ad outside, there are endless amounts of law offices ads here. Obviously to be successful means to put yourself out there and advertise so adjusting to all this was understandable. Fortunately, I’ve never needed to hire a lawyer yet, and hopefully ill never need to.
